I think that you only "lose" your virginity when you choose to give it to someone. I am sorry to hear about what happened to you. Even if there was no penetration, that kind of violation can be difficult to deal with. I wish you the best.

Sorry to hear about that... I think you should still think of yourself as a virgin; since, I really don't think a rapist can take away your virginity. Maybe physically they could, but I think that's the least important aspect of being a virgin. Good luck to you.

Of course you are still virgin!!! I don't think that your hymen get broken then, besides having a hymen cannot be treated as a sign of virginity because 20% of females never actually had it! By my opinion you are virgin untill you voluntariously have a sexual realethionship with someone.
Please, don't take this the wrong way, but you were raped, not nearly raped. If someone forces themselves and you said no; that is rape. I know since I've been through it. Please get into a support group. Your self esteem needs building and it really helps to talk with people who have been there.

well you are STILL considered a virgin. you shouldn't let a creep like that steal your virginity. even if, physically, its gone. rape does not count. it wasn't YOUR decision.
i truly hope you feel better. i, personally, have never been through this. but i do have friends who have. and i do think that its tougher than it sounds.
