is it normal? not really.

but it depends on a lot of things. is she sexual active would be first. and how long has she been getting her periods in general? it's not unusual for it take 2 years to begin a normal pattern.

if she's just under stress or on new medication, then this is a pretty standard thing to happen.

in short, i'd recommend she talk to the school nurse or a trusted older female. they can break things down for her and even help her get in contact with a nice doctor, and tell her dad what's going on too.

If she is sexually active, it's possible that she got pregnant and has now suffered a miscarriage. In any case, a trip to a gynecologist or family doctor is the best action.

She should get to a doctor, or at least Planned Parenthood or the free clinic.
This is not the type of question Y! answers can handle well.
