Don't freak out, you're just really scared because its blood.. but also cause you were having sex which you were most likely hiding from your family/his family or something

First time you do it you tear apart your hymen or something, tissues that never regrow.. as long as it isn't like literally non stop dripping from you for hours and hours and you start feeling faint, you should be fine.

sorry that i'm pretty vague, i'm a gay male so thats not a subject I delve into much heh

Its normal to have a bit
You sure its not your period ?

Shouldn't bleed that much. Go and see a doctor if it continues.

Why not ask your mother?

hmmmm....how old are u anywayz......

I'm not sure if this is normal, but when I first had sex I didn't bleed at all, and it wasn't sore etc. If your hymen hadn't been broken before, perhaps this is the cause?

It is normal on your first time as it can break the haymen but also he could have cut you or grazed you a little bit with the force. If it is still bleeding tomorrow get it checked out by the doc.

Your hymen probably broke the whole way today. He could have just cracked it alittle. And you did something like move your leg too fast. And you cracked it the rest of the way. Or you could have gotten your period. Don't be worried. I doubt it's nothing. But you didn't say if he wore protection or not, so it could be anything.

actually i think its ment to happen, hence the frase 'pop the cherry' when you have sex the lining bursts...so then you bleed...dw its perfectly normal, but if you are really afraid about it go see your GP! overwise its OK!

You can still bleed a little afterwards. Also sex can bring on your period if you are due even if there was no sign of it before! Dont be scared hunni, its normal.
If it was painful,he has probably grazed you a little by maybe being too enthusiastic. This happened to me after a few times having sex,i bled for a few days!

It's completley normal to bleed a bit.

Period? or maybe you suffered an abrasion while doing it - that area is full of blood vessels so even if you get a tiny cut, it will bleed a lot.

If you're not in any pain then I'm sure it's nothing to worry about =)

Could the bleeding be your period? It is not normal to be bleeding no more than a few spots of blood after the first time. Check with the doctor if it persists.

Apart from your hymen you may have torn something. You dont say how old you are , and whether telling mum is practicable. As it is Sunday nowhere is open, do you have an older friend who can help? perhaps accompany you to the A and E .

That's very normal to bleed when you lose your virginity. The little thin piece of skin, called the HYMEN broke.

The amount of pain and bleeding differs greatly from woman to woman, it could just be that you are one of the unfortunate ones. If the bleeding doesn't stop in a day or two then visit your doctor if you are sure it isn't your period.

Now you can officially be called a ......

As long as the bleeding is not more than your average period there is nothing to be worried about. The amount of pain and bleeding during a girls first time will vary greatly. If you still feel pain, (an almost constant pain) and are bleeding more than your normal period, I would go see a doctor.
Do you have an older friend that you can talk to about this? I know Mom doesn't feel like the right one to talk to yet, but an older trusted friend can be just as helpful. Best of luck to you.

I would say its probably the hymen that has broken and so you do bleed a bit after sex and this is normal.

However, there are a number of reasons for this aswell, some STI's can cause bleeing after intercourse.

If you are still in pain and bleeding tomorrow i would see your GP, embarrasing as it is, if you leave it you could make things a lot worse for yourself.

Hiya Huni, its perfectly normal to bleed a bit, and it is painful the first time, and probably for the next few times after. If the bleeding continues maybe u should see a doctor. But try not to worry too much. xx
