Missed period?!
Question: I am on birth control and have been for six months. I have not forgotten any pills in the last month and have taken them at the same time each day. I am on my last sugar pill, and still don't have my period. (It usually comes around the third sugar pill) I took a pregnancy test tonight and it read negative. Are there any other possibilities as to why I missed my period besides being pregnant?

Believe it or not, but this has happened to me. Some pills are designed to shorten your period or to make it lighter...in those cases it is not abnormal to miss one all together...if it makes you nervous, call your GYN. Good luck and try not to stress too much!
