HELP!!! what is going on?!

Question: ok.. i have asked a questoin like this before.. but this time it is different. i have been on the birth control Loestrin for about 6 months and my period.. well is non exsistant. i have taken pregnancy tests and i am not pregnant. before i started the pill my period was only about 3 days and i knew that this pill was supposed to shorten it and make it lighter... would it be possible to make me not have it at all? is this healthy?

yeah, isn't that a nice side affect of being on the pill? My period is either one day long, or non existant: no cramps, no bloating, no excessive bleeding, it's GREAT!!! enjoy it sista, my OBGYN said it's completely normal.

It is possible that it shortened it to the point of nonexistant, it's not unhealthy but you can talk to your doctor to see what they think.

In women with certain medical conditions such as endometriosis (giving an example only) it can be ok to not have a period.

Yes, it is possible that it could stop the period altogether but I would recommend checking with your doctor as well to see what they say.

I think I would go to to my gynecologist right away

absolutely not healthy..... i dun no much but as per what i've read birth control pills shud b taken only in emergencies coz there's always a contingency that they may make you infertile(impotent if its the rite word)
