Help with deop- shot?!

Question: I have ben on the birthcontrol shot for a year this janurary. I have loved it.. other then the weight gain. I lost my period within 2 hours of getting the shot and haven't had a single one since. Well today after all this time, Im bleeding, with lots of little clots. And I'm very lightheaded. Has anyone else ever experienced anything like this? is it normal at all to just get a period a year down the line for no apparent reason? or is this a sign of something else? i go back to the doc on the 18 should I wait til then or is this something I need to call my doc about?

after my 2nd son i had the same problems, breakthough bleeding about a year after being on the shot. after my 3rd son i got back on depo and bled for 6 months straight, no days off. but if you're worried, call your doctor and at least have a nurse take your question and answer you to ease your worried mind, but i think it's normal.

CALL THE DOCTOR's office and tell his NURSE your situation, and explain that you feel you're reaching emergency status where you need to be seen NOW rather than waiting till the 18th.

Go by her recommendation. She'll review it with your doctor.
I think they'll want to fit you in as soon as possible as you could pass out and get injured with the clots and light headedness.

I take it...love it...have gone months after forgetting to get the shot redone..oops, my bad!! But the bleeding and clots..VIP~~the light headedness~~hmm...call your doc and see..always best to be on the safe side..and it's only a phone call away...right?
