Please help..lump on groin.. Ingrown hair?!

Question: I asked this recently but still looking for moreanswers. A couple of years ago this happened to me in the exact same spot, on my left side where the fold is when the abodomen joins the leg..u know, that crease. I wasn't sexually active then, and this happened, and I remembered telling my mother about it and she told me to wait until it went down, and it did, but I don't remember how long it took for it to go down. What is it? I just got off an antibiotic for bv a few weeks ago so me and my fiance had discontinued intercourse during the medication. My tests for chlamydia, gonoreah and trich came back negative. But after the antibiotic I think it gave me a yeast infection so I discontinued that rephresh stuff..& I keep urinating! But the fact that this "lump" happened to me 2 years ago b4 I was even thinking about sex makes me wonder. It's about the size of a nickle but not bigger than a quarter. Could it be an ingrown hair? It's firm and doesn't hurt unless I press it really hard

It's probably a cyst, due to an ingrown hair. I am plagued by these all the time, my doctor said not to worry about it, the cysts can be removed when they are in an inactive state, but when they are inactive I don't think about them. Mine will eventually come to a point where I can pop them, then they go away.

go see a doctor

The best thing to do would be to see a doctor and they could tell you what it is exactly. From what you've described it could be anything from an ingrown hair to a wart. If you are waxing/shaving down there make sure that you are always exfoliating to reduce ingrowns.

I've heard that zinc cream can help with infected hairs. If it doesn't get better in a week, you NEED to go see a doctor!!

yeah forsure go see a doctor. an ingrown hair is like the size of not even a piece of rice. its not an ingrown hair.
