Please help..still looking for answers about lump in groin?!
Question: I had it b4 2 years ago when I wasn't even sexually active..No it's not a boil, so it can't be popped. It's under the skin on the left side where the abdomen joins the leg. From what someone told me, it is probably a cyst due to an ingrown hair. I know I just got off an antibiotic a few weeks ago for bv so my fiance and I had discontinued intercourse. He's clean, and so am I. Our tests for chlamydia, gonoreah and trich came back (-) There is no pain, it's just there. I remember having this when I was like 18 years old, but I was ignorant to the fact of what it was. But whatever it was, it had went down eventually, I just don't remember how long it took. I know things like this happens when an infection just happened. Do u think that could be the case. It's painless..it doesn't hurt. I have to really press hard in order to feel some sort of pain from it, and that is even xtra mild. I don't think it's a hernia because it does not disappear when I lie down. Has anyone had this b4?

It could be a swollen Lymph node
It sounds like a cyst.
Why wait a few more days? You have to be seen by an MD so he can get info from you and decide if and what tests he may need to do. Just because someone had or has a lump like yours doesn't mean anything. Different people,different situations. See you DR asap, please.
