Implantation Bleeding or Spotting? Please Help!?!

Question: I am 22 years old and I am on the pill (and have been since February). I never miss a pill and I always take it at the same time every night. My boyfriend and I use a condom most of the time, as well. If we do not use a condom, he does not ejaculate inside of me.

I am supposed to get my period in 9 days. After having sex 2 nights ago, on Saturday, (with a condom), I had a little bit of bleeding afterwards, but with 3 wipes it was gone. Now last night, Sunday, I had some spotting. I still have it this morning, as well. My breasts are sore, but this is normal for me. The sore breasts happen every month for 2 weeks before I get my period.

Does this sound normal or does it sound like it could be implantation bleeding? Also, any advice on how to stay calm during this time? I do not want to be pregnant, but I know there is nothing I can do right now until I see if my period comes.

Only serious answers please, I don't need a lecture on not having sex until marriage. Thanks.

Pretty sure you're not pregnant. If you're on the pill, and you use condoms, and whenever you don't you pull out (which is a very dangerous thing to do by the way, you could still be pregnant), the chances are very low. The sperm is in the guy's pre-ejaculatory fluid, but the pills will keep you from ovulating, so you should be fine. Either way I would recommend taking a pregnancy test just to ease your worry. I was in the same boat as you last month, still kinda am, but I got my period and it was light. Scares me because I see people saying you could still be pregnant after that, but I'm sure I'm not, so I'm just waiting for the next period lol. Staying calm during this situation is hard, I'm not gonna lie. Just have to keep your mind off of it. What I do is hang out with my friends, or work, anything to keep me from thinking about it. Seems to work. Good luck!

Some spotting is normal. It's natural, nothing to worry about.
Good Luck.
