Question: ok, i have endemetriosis and it's been progressively getting worse for the past six months. i'm 20 and i didn't used to get cramps at all until about 9 months or so ago. this month, my cramps are KILLING me! i've been to the doctor, and there's not much they can do until it gets really serious if it ever does. i just want to know if anyone knows some home remedies to lesson the cramps and boost my energy a little so i don't feel like complete crap today while i'm working (i'm a housewife with an 18 mo. old). I'm prescribed naproxen for the back pain, so i can't take any other medicine, but if anyone knows of any home remedies that i could try, that would be wonderful. i'll try anything! please help. best answer to the idea that helps me out the best and quickest. thanks alot

Try some acupuncture. But at home grab a towel and a rag that is long enough to cover the area that hurts also it should be a little bit thick. Put the rag under a iron let it warm up to a point it will make u nice and toasty. Then immediately put it on ur back then grab the towel and rape it around ur waist. this should help the warmth will relax ur muscles also there is this thing called Tiger Balm. u can find it in cvs or drug store. its an ointment that will help a lot. its in a small bottle with a tiger drawn on it and it smells like herbs, am pretty sure its asian. Just rub it on u then put the warm rag on. Its better if u do it at night so when u sleep that stuff can work on u. hope this helps.

Try hot packs. They're very soothing.

hot tea and a heating pad works wonders

Drink Cranberry juice and also hot chamomille tea. Naproxen is basically for inflammation try aleve it's basically the same thing but use the aleve instead of the naproxen

Other than a curette, I can only recommend a hot water bottle, Reiki or massage / pressure in certain spots.
