HELP with Sleep problem?!
Question: Okay, my girlfriend has this problem. She has no problem falling asleep but thats the actual problem. As soon as she lays down (it doesn't matter where she is) within approx 2 to 3 mintues shes fast asleep, even snoring sometimes. She gets plently of sleep at night when shes ment too. She works in a care home for challenging behaviour and does work long hours, sometimes 14hr shifts. However, this doesn't seem to be the problem. Im not the only one to think that she may have some serious health issue going on but what exactly?
She doesn't eat well to start as shes obbessed that eatting too much will make her put more weight on and by NOT eatting properly she will lose it this way. Ive tried to explain to her it doesn't work like this. Im thinking she could be lacking in Iron or its diabetes related?
Any ideas?
Shes a nightmare to get to go to the GP.

Sounds like sleep apnea. She needs to go to the GP, period.
Maybe its just all in her head and she is really just fine
It could be stress and she doesn't realize it. It could be a thyroid problem. You'd be amazed at how screwed the body can get from the thyroid being messed up.
It could be several things. It could be her thyroid, depression, stress, or it could be nothing at all. Talk with her and tell her you are concerned for her. And if she gives you a difficult time making an appointment with her GP, then ask her to do it for you and that you will go with her to the appointment.
