Birth Control for young teen?!

Question: I'm 13 years old and started my period a year ago. Things have been pretty rocky, I have a small hymen so the periods are long and sometimes even heavy at certain times. I get baaad cramps and I get very VERY depressed when I am on my period. Sometimes I have thoughts of suicide. I feel so helpless.... all and all I have a miserble time with my period and since I have endured a year of this I am starting to worry about myself. So I was wondering if there is some type of birth control or medicine that would stop my period. I understand that it is important and healthy but I have such a hard time with it. You seriously don't understand how bad it is! I have scratched my wrists hard, (not cut them) because I felt so horrible and helpless. I'm not emo, and I have a great life. But it's like when my period comes around suddenly I feel horrible. And just a couple of months ago I started having anxiety attacks! That is how bad it it is. How can I tell my mom about this? About birth control?

You can get on the one that you just keep taking instead of breaking for a week. Also your hymen has nothing to do with your period and the length of it. Just tell your mom what you told us here.

its natural
speak 2 ur mam about it and tel her u want to go the doctor and he will help u

Tell your mom, have her take you to a gyn doctor.

print this and let your Mom read it. That may be easier. Than make a Gynecologist appointment.
You need to see a professional to get the help you need dealing with this.
Good Luck!

just first explain what`s going on, and then end with "that`s why i was wondering if i could go on birth control" and then see what she does.

Taking the pill will make what you're experiencing worse.
But, there are other things you can take.

Your periods at 13 are normal but the feelings you're experiencing are not.

Tell your mom your problem and have her take you to a psychiatrist. You need meds for your depression.
