Tri-Sprintec birth control pills?!

Question: i wanted my doctor to prescribe me to Ortho-Tricyclen but when i went to pick up my pills they gave me Tri-Sprintec and said it was a generic version of Ortho-Tricyclen. is the generic version the same as the name brand?

i've heard from a lot of women that they loved ortho-tricyclen and hated Tri-sprintec.. how is that possible if they are the same??

i like it!

Chemically they ARE the same, with one tiny molecular change. This is how the manufacturer can call it a generic. Most women will never know the difference, some might experience a reaction to that minor change, and some may fabricate the "symptoms" in order to get the name brand under the bizarre misconception that name brand is better.

Generics are just as effective as the name brands, at up to 50% less in cost!
