How long should I wait to see a doctor?!

Question: For how long can you attribute stress to a missed period???
What I mean is. Okay say I am a few days late on my period, that may be because I am stressed. How long before you should rule out stress and maybe see a doctor?

I would wait for 2 weeks after your period was meant to arrive to rule out stress..
Though you can most certainly go to a doctor and have a pregnancy test done. They'll most likely do a urine test and then a blood test.
The blood test is the confirmation test, as urine doesn't always show up at the doctor either.
Just make sure before your appointment that you don't use the bathroom 3-4 hours before so that your urine is concentrated, even doctors pregnancy urine tests arn't the best at detecting early hCG levels.

When you get the blood test back I would say that it is 99% aaccurate!!

i've gone up to a week

id wait personally no longer than 2 misses cycles

Well, if you might be pregnant, go buy a home pregnancy test, use your first morning urine and rule out pregnancy as a cause... then, I would wait until my next cycle and see if it comes as it should.. if not, then contact your doctor..

but this is pending the fact that you don't have any other symptoms...

Most doctors don't get to concerned till it has been at least 6 months to a year. However it is up to you if you want to go address the problem to your doctor.

Stress, diet, exercise, hormone changes, living with other females, weight changes, medications and of course pregnancy can all cause you to delay or skip your cycle.

If ya think you might be pregnant, go get a test. If it comes out positive go to Dr immediately to confirm. If neg. give it another week.

Science you are stressed its probably it. you might bee pregnet if it continues

If you're possibly worried about being pregnant and that's where the stress is coming from I suggest taking a pregnancy test. I was a week late so I took the test which to much of my relief read negative and, no joke, the next day I had my period! It's worth a try :)

I'm not totally sure---I don't think it's a specific time but I've skipped an entire period because of stress before.
