I am right handed but when I write with my left hand I write backwards?!

It's not just you, although it's fairly unusual. I knew a girl who could mirror write (that's what this is called) simultaneously with one hand while writing normally with the other... she'd do it at parties to impress people.
Anyway, it probably indicates that you've got a more left-handed organization of your brain language centers. Can either of your parents do this? It tends to be inherited.

That's pretty amazing. It makes sense though, because your brain is only developed to write on one side. So everything is reversed if you try to write with the other.
I personally can write with both hands, although the left side looks a bit more childish than the right side.
Cool. Leonardo da Vinci wrote some of his journals backwards as well. You had to read them by holding them up to a mirror.

My 6th grade teacher would take a piece of chalk in each hand and start writing with both, out away from each other. She'd write her name twice at the same time and they were mirror inages of each other! Very cool!
I do the same. If I hold a pen in each hand and write my name, just as I would naturally, they are mirror images of each other. The one written by my right hand is written properly (left to right) The one written by my left hand is backwards (right to left.)

Sorry to disappoint everyone but that's pretty normal. Just take a pen in each hand a write ,the had u do not usually write should very easily start writing backward. It's just one of those odd things.
