Weight question ?!


Question: hi, im 5'5 and 114 pounds. ive lost a lot of weight.. i used to be 134 pounds when i was 13 then i suddenly lost all of it now ( im 17 )

its because i jog a lot.

but my problem is i am under a lot of stress, trying to cure from abuse from my dad. etc.... and i lose my appetite more and more. im not depressed. i drink a lot of coffee.


im worried because i will be jogging all day every day in the summer and i just know ill be as skinny as a skeletin..


how do i manage my weight to the point where i dont lose too much ?

well first of all the weight that you are at is perfect right now but if your worried about too much weight then I would stop with the coffee and focus on eating healthy. Do not starve yourself, this will only lead to worse things. i love running too, but i also have to eat right because about two years ago I was down to 5'5"and 100 pounds. i really love it and i would loose my appetite for hours after running just 3 miles! my doctor told me that even if i don't feel like eating i still need to eat something like a bowl of cereal.

eat more

make sure you try and eat plenty of fat, fibre, vitamins, carbohydrates, calcium etc.

if this doesn't help talk to your doctor

First of all, know that there is not a "cure" from abuse, but you can recover enough to be functional & happy. Your problem takes root in that abuse, so I think you need to acknowledge that with a counselor & work from there.

Eat more carbs!! You'll burn off the added calories. However don't go eating foods high in fat! That's not good for you. Do some strength training too.

i am not the right person to ask,
i know this is wrong but when i feel fat and gross i stop eating until whatever i want gone is gone, then i eat a little bit of non-fat food so my body can tstore the fats.

keep protein in ur system sweetie, it will help your muscles heal and keep ya from looking like a cracked out Olsen twin...
