My sister takes Ortho and I take Yasmin. I still look better than her, so I would suggest Yasmin. ok im just kidddding!
The difference is that ortho gives you different dosages of hormones each month.. some people react weirdly to that. Especially if you miss a pill, it might upset your stomach to take two different dosages of hormones in one day..
Yasmin gives you the same dosage.. It also made my boobs a little bigger.. (that could either be a good thing or a bad thing for you).. My period has remained really light with yasmin.. it use to be horrible..
I have taken 3 different types of BC before and Yasmin has been my favorite by far. Always remember for the best results from BC pills, take the pill everyday at the same time..

Never took Ortho-Tricyclen but took Yasmin for about 3 years. Just switched to Yaz which is the same hormones as Yasmin but is the 24-4 pill. Love them both.
I use to take Ortho-TriCyclen and it made me fuzzy headed, nauseaus and just miserable overall.
I've never taken Yasmin, but I am currently taking Yaz. I like it much better.
The only downside to the switch was that Ortho had a generic version, Trinessa which on my insurance was so much cheaper than Yaz.
