Being sick is never the most pleasant way to spend your time, but really- getting yourself all wound around the axle about it is carrying things a bit far, don't you think? Your immune system at 16 is more than up to the challenge of a virus, so even if you did catch something, we aren't talking death sentence here. You can lower your chances of getting it by doing the things your mom and the kindergarten teacher taught you. Wash your hands with soap and water before you eat and after a trip to the toilet. Keep your hands away from your face and out of your mouth. Don't share cups, plates, silverware, etc. And if you do get sick, for heavens sake, stay home and rest. Don't keep burning the candle at both ends and expect things to get better overnight. If you start vomiting or get diarrhea, stay home, quit eating and drink plenty of clear liquid. Don't go dumping a bunch of miracle medicines in your poor irritated innards. Drink clear liquids for 24 hours, and stay away from all dairy products. Stay home, stay in bed or at least lay down and rest, and stay away from other folks. After 24 hours of clear liquids, you can eat bananas, rice, applesauce/apples, and white bread or soda crackers, and all the clear liquid you like. In fact, you should drink until your molars float. By day three you should feel a lot better, and actually might be hungry. You can have any bland food except dairy products. Broth based soups, chicken noodle soup and the like are good bets. The next day you can add a carton of live culture yogurt, whatever flavor you like. Eat a carton or two of that per day for two or three days and you can then eat whatever you like. So even if worst case happens and you do catch it- we are only talking two days of really feeling ratty. Then you will be on the mend again. Inside four days, you will be back to your old self again more than likely. So calm yourself and put this in perspective. No, nobody likes being sick. But sometimes it just happens. Then you do what you have to do to get better, and life goes on.

smoke some crack.may i provide u with some?:)

go somewhere else

Try to boost your immune system by eating a balanced diet and getting lots of sleep. Good hygiene is very important: wash your hands, especially after using the washroom, after handling money, and before eating. Use a hand sanitizer if you feel comfortable doing so, but don't over-use it. And relax! Getting sick is one of those things that just happens, you have to deal with it at some point. If you worry about it too much then you'll stress your immune system, making you more prone to getting sick.

i know wat u mean though but stop worrying babe!!!

my treatment:pesticide and less curses.

If you know people hve it obviously stay away from them. You can carry hand gel with you, the medical one which disenfects your hands, without a sink. The poster who is a pharmacist as given you all the pointers

you need to relax more honey ...chances are - you wont get the bug. just take extra precautions like washing your hands more & using anti-bacterial gel if you like...but honestly, it isn't really necessary.

A good walk around the local children's hospital especially the cancer ward might help you

do an activity that u like doing that should keep ur mind of it and to be careful go to the doctor and ask for some pills that u can take if u have any sign of the bug
hope u dnt get the bug
