Why does my period last longer than 7 days(actually 3wks)?!
Question: I had that same problem as a teenager, with periods lasting 2-3 weeks. Some girl's menstrual cycles are just naturally irregular. You most likely have a hormonal imbalance, and the best way to correct this is to see a OBGYN and get birth control pills that will make your period regular. I took birth control pills for 5 years and then stopped, and my period is still not completely normal, but it is alot better than it was.

3 wks?! and everywhere does it happen?
I don't know the reason why it would last that long but your doctor can do things to help you out with that. Some birth control pills can help regulate your period.
Wow girl I don't know if that is normal. Maybe you should talk with your doc. If you're periods lasts 3 wks you could be loosing too much and become anemic.
there can be lots of different reasons for this. Don't be embarrased, just find a nice female doctor and explain it to her, she'll help you. Good luckx
It's not normal. Go to a dr, no need to suffer like that!
