Chlamydia is known as a "silent" disease because about three quarters of infected women and about half of infected men have no symptoms. If symptoms do occur, they usually appear within 1 to 3 weeks after exposure.

In women, the bacteria initially infect the cervix and the urethra (urine canal). Women who have symptoms might have an abnormal vaginal discharge or a burning sensation when urinating. When the infection spreads from the cervix to the fallopian tubes (tubes that carry fertilized eggs from the ovaries to the uterus), some women still have no signs or symptoms; others have lower abdominal pain, low back pain, nausea, fever, pain during intercourse, or bleeding between menstrual periods. Chlamydial infection of the cervix can spread to the rectum.

In women, the symptoms of gonorrhea are often mild, but most women who are infected have no symptoms. Even when a woman has symptoms, they can be so non-specific as to be mistaken for a bladder or vaginal infection. The initial symptoms and signs in women include a painful or burning sensation when urinating, increased vaginal discharge, or vaginal bleeding between periods. Women with gonorrhea are at risk of developing serious complications from the infection, regardless of the presence or severity of symptoms

Tell your friend to go to a clinic and get tested. This is very important. Chlamydia can turn into cervical cancer before you know it. I have a 19 year old friend that had to get a total hysterectomy because she ignored her chlamydia.

i don't know the symptoms, but it doesn't sounds good, she needs to get checked at her family planning clinic

Yes she has an STD. Clamidia and gonoreah have the same symptoms so it's hard for us to know which one she has. i suggest she see a Doctor ASAP and get medicine. A family doctor can do it or an OBGYN. Her parents don't have to know either because there is doctor patient privlege...so don't be scared, Tell the doctor everything!

gonnoreah is a diese i think only a boy can get. If she is pregant that is bad because she was drunk. So i should check that and the burn in the pee will go away in about a week. Thats all i know for now. Hoped it helped

Ghonnorea-
abnormal bleeding
a burning sensation during urination
vaginal discharge
general irritation of the outer area of the vagina

Clamedia-
a minor increase in vaginal discharge caused by an inflamed cervix.
cystitis (an inflammation of the lining of the bladder). the need to urinate more frequently, or pain whilst passing urine.
pain during sexual intercourse or bleeding after sex.
mild lower abdominal pains.
irregular menstrual bleeding
. a painful swelling and irritation in the eyes (if they become infected).

You orrrrr your friend need to go to planned parent hood to get tested.

the symptoms seem to me like a urinary tract infection. Try pouring warm water in a little cup and pour in into your intimate part so you can pee. Drink plenty of cranberry juice and seek doctor's attention. the first time you have sex it burns when it pees for some girls.
