You can start it 1 of 3 ways:
1. the first day of your period
2. the sunday after starting period
3.any day it is prescribed
The ONLY reason they recommend sunday is b/c it's easier to remember suday as day 1 of the week & not get confused..also that means youll never have a period on the weekend which is convenient for many women.

The only difference between today & sunday is that you'll start on different days of the week. Count out the months & see what's convenient for you

Bottom line: Any day is fine, just keep taking them after today. I started mine on a thursday. Your body doesn't know what day of the week it is. Just make sure to tkae them every day at teh SAME time so you'll be protected.

None.

the Sunday after your last period

Start taking them after you go to a gynecologist so he can explain you how the whole thing works, otherwise you will be a mom.

They tell you to do the sunday thing cause it is suposed to be easier to remember or something but I always started mine on like a wendsday or thursday. I did that so that I didnot have my period on the weekends. So whatever you feel conforable with is what you should do. Just as long as it is after the start of your period so that it can get in sync with you cycle

you can take sun+ mon today and tues +weds tommorrow then you will be caught up

They say to start it on Sunday since its easier to remember but there is no difference!

The reason you start on Sunday is that you always start on Sunday. The pill is useless unless used properly and consistently. They chose Sunday as a start day so that you will never try to switch it around and it will keep you on a consistent schedule.

If you have questions about your birth control, make sure you contact the prescribing physician...they should have NEVER let you leave the office until you fully understood how to use it. The pill isn't a magic no-baby pill, it's a hormonal contraceptive, and if used improperly can have consequences, either you have mild spotting or it just doesn't work and you get pregnant.

Please, call your doctor and make sure you have him/her answer ALL of your questions until you know EXACTLY what you are doing.

Hope this helps. Sorry to sound so...dire but this is important.
