In a weird way it's kind of nice like wow I'm a real woman now...BUT it also comes along with mood swings because of the difference in hormones. I get horrible cramps and really, really bad headaches. I find most of the time it's a pain...don't worry about getting it...you get it one day and it's with you for 40 more years!

noo.! haha

No you really don't. haha..

no... who cares if it makes you feel older or anything, it sucks.

Possibly not but unfortunately if your a woman it's a fact of life and going from a girl to a woman. No way out of it unfortunately. You might be one of those lucky one's who don't get PMS or cramps during their period.
You'll get used to it.

Do you want to? no... but it's inevitable. sorry!! no worries it's not THAT bad!!!

unfortunatly there are a lot of problems with periods. I HATE MINE!!!!!!! eurgh

How old r u anyways?

If you are young, don't feel left out. I have never met a girl who doesn't hate her period with a passion.

If you are over the age of 15, then you should want it because it indicates that you are healthy and on your way to becoming a woman. I lost my period for a year due to an eating disorder, and recently got it back. I never thought I'd want it back, lol.

No you really don't. It's probably one of the most annoying awful things. Be happy without it as long as possible.

You know, this is not something you actually have a choice about. You are eventually going to get a period if you are female. Once your pattern is established, you will likely have one per month. Your first few periods won't impress you much, I admit. It will sometimes seem like a bad joke nature played on you. But it will also mean you have a power that no man will ever enjoy. Only women can create life, give birth, and nurture future generations. Any ninny can destroy a thing, that takes no talent at all to do. But the power to be a mom is the greatest thing in the world. And someday, when you are ready, I hope it's a power and privledge you will enjoy.

i would rather go blind, deaf, and have my legs chopped off

noo way. it messes up your life.
cramps... mood swings... food cravings... leaks...

no woman wants to get her period we all have to go through it at some point in our lives yea we get cramps tired and even bitchy but its completly normal especially if u plan on having kids someday its just our body sayin im all woman but if u dont want it get a sex change

no u dont they suck

You know what? I won't lie, it sucks. It's part of being a woman and it's what cleanses your body so it's something we all have to go through.

lol it's not the best thing in the world, but you can't do much about it.

Not really. ): Most people get bad cramps. I thought it'd make me feel older, but it didn't, and I've been caught off-guard by it several times. It's something that will happen regardless, but just enjoy your period-free life!

Yes for sure, not having a period means 1 of 2 things.

A) You are in some way unhealthy and there is an underlying health problem, missed periods can be the earliest signs of beginning health issues.
OR
B) it means you are pregnant! now i know you're only 11 so enjoy it while you can, but I never realized just how much a period meant till I missed mine this month. I am scared to death I am getting a preg test tommorrow but till then.. guess i'll just have to suffer. But yes, periods are a GOOD thing.
Beats the alternative.

heck no! its painful and miserable!!! im on mine now im cramping terribly ugh i hate this time of month! enjoy it while u can!

no !!!
