Birth Control At Different Times?!

Question: They're usually not real big time gaps - somedays I'll take it at 7:00 A.M. others, I'll take them as late as 9:30 A.M.

Is this too risky? Or are they still effective?

It's most effective if you take it at the same time each day, though a lot of women do this and get away with it. You're on the combination pill, right? If you're on the mini-pill (progestin-only), you're playing with fire. Even if you're on the estrogen/progestin pill, it'd be better to play it safe, and take it on time or no more than an hour late. If you get up at different times in the morning, maybe you should take it at a different time of day.

Well in my case, I do the same thing. Maybe a two hour gap every day. I have been on birthcontrol pills for about 4 years, and doing what you are doing. I dont always use a condom. And I have yet to get pregnant. But your body might react different than mine.
