I know it sounds crazy but use PLAIN yogurt. it works and is not very expensive. google yeast infection and you will find a bunch of sites with natural treatments. good luck

monostat 3. get it at the pharmacy over the counter, it costs about$10. and it works
My wife says to get the over the counter 7 day Monostat treatment package available at any drug store or Walmart. The 3 day package does not work in every case.
If you have drug card with insurance, your gyne can prescripe a pill to take once that should wipe it out. Otherwise, I've used Monistat 3 or 7 several times and it has worked. The One time Monistat does not work for me.
If it's your first one, you should definitely get it checked by a doctor because it could be bacterial vaginosis or another type of vaginal infection. They can give you diflucan(pill) to treat it or gynazole(cream) to treat it. If you are sure it's a yeast infection, the monistat that has only 1 treatment works, but it takes more than one day to have relief from the symptoms (normally 3 to 4 days). Any one of the other monistats should work the same. They have kits too that you can check the pH of your vagina to see what type of infection it is and they normally sell them at Wal-mart if you really don't want to go to the doctor.
