Hoe come girls dont have periods when they are pregnant?!

Question: Becase they aren't ovulating, because the egg was fertilized by the sperm, so if there is no egg to be released that hasn't been fertilized, that is a period, but if the egg is in there fertilized, then it stays and doesn't come out.

Answers: Becase they aren't ovulating, because the egg was fertilized by the sperm, so if there is no egg to be released that hasn't been fertilized, that is a period, but if the egg is in there fertilized, then it stays and doesn't come out.

a period happens when the body releases an egg and it makes its way to the uterus to attach to the uterine wall. if the egg goes unfertilized the body must get rid of it thus the uterine wall sloughs off...hence the period.

the purpose of the period is to flush the lining of the uterus. when a woman is pregant the lining of the uterus is where the fetus hooks on, so the body doesnt flush it then.

no need- they get their periods to get rid the useless eggs- when they are already pregnant they don't need to use any

The whole purpose of the period is to cleanse the uterus of the lining it had prepared to host a baby. Since an egg was not fertilized the lining is shed in the form of bleeding. If you become pregnant, the uterus becomes even thicker than normal, the egg implants and a baby grows. After you give birth, you will bleed anywhere from a few days up to 6 weeks post partum, though most women probably only bleed 2-3 weeks. The uterus is home to the baby and its placenta which provides the baby with oxygen, blood, and nutrients during the pregnancy so that it can properly develop.

As a womens uterus prepares for pregnancy, the uterus lining thickens to prepare for the fertalized egg to implant itself (to protect it). When the egg is fertilized, the hormone levels stay constant so the body knows it is pregnant and the uterus lining stays intact. If the egg doesn't get fertilized, the hormone levels drop. The body knows it is not pregnant so it allows the thickened lining of the uterus slough off.

However, in some women who ARE pregnant, their hormone are not quite stable so they do have a "light period" even though they are pregnant. As long as the placenta stays healthy where it is attached to the uterus, the doctor doesn't worry too much if the "period" is light and lasts just a couple days.

the baby eats it

LOl you dont get a period because you are not ovulating and shedding the egg!
