Why can't I lose my abdominal fat? And why do I feel so sick after eating ce!

Question: I'm 19 years old. I have PCOS and insulin resistance, and I lost 20 pounds. I jog regularly and am muscular, but I have a LOT of weight around my waist that just won't budge. It's also around my upper thighs, but my arms are fairly thin. I avoid sugar and don't eat horribly. It's very frustrating. My waist should be 6 inches smaller.

I've tried Metformin, and I hated it because it caused my blood sugar to drop constantly and greatly increased my appetite. When I did lose weight I did it without any medication.

When I eat something very high in fat, which I don't do often, I feel very nauseous. I'm suddenly very aware of my heartbeat, and while it doesn't seem to speed up, it feels as though my heart is working harder. It also makes me feel very stressed out. When I eat sugar, even a little, I get very sleepy and also nauseous. My mother has diabetes and her symptoms are not as extreme as mine, and she doesn't even exercise.

I was curious if anyone else has had anything similar...

My daughter has the same issues and was just diagnosed w/celiac disease/gluten intolerance. Putting her on a gluten-free diet has so far been very effective and some of the belly fat and extra weight is coming off already. Do you have issues with heartburn or irritable bowels? I know there are links to diabetes and celiac, as well. Something to look into maybe? Good luck!
