Weight gain on Birth Control Pills?!

Question: Ok So I haven't had my period in 4 months (and no I am not pregnant) my doctor put me back on birth control pills and I am at my last week before I take my period pills (don't know what they are called) I gained 10 pounds could it be because of those 4 months not bleeding? I have also had some pain like really bad cramping so I was just wondering.

No, you didn't gain weight from not bleeding. Gaining some weight while taking birth control is common. 10 pounds in that sort time isn't common. Are you sure your eating habits haven't changed? Are you "retaining water" and that is the reason for the weight gain? If so, you may want to try a diuretic.
