Nuvaring Insertion?!

Question: I just put the Nuvaring in for the first time on Sunday. I'm not sure I did it right, but only because no one told me how to do it.
I don't feel it, and when I was putting it in, I put it in as far as I could, and it almost 'popped' open into place. Is that how it's supposed to be? Is it possible for it to go too far in, to the point where I can't get it out?

As long as it is in it works. The specific position does not matter. If it is not in the right position you will feel it. If it is in properly you won't even know it is there! And no, it is not possible for it to go in too far so don't worry about that you should always be able to find it. And yes it will pop open to stay in place. Any other questions feel free to email me, I have been using Nuvaring for 3 years.

The exact position is not important. You should not be able to feel the ring when properly placed.
