Menopause Question!?!

Question: I am 46 and wondering about the first signs of menopause are. Can you have a really light period about 4 or 5 days before your actual period? In other word it was lite and came early. A week before and several weeks after the early/lite period, I was feeling like I had the flu, achy all over, throwing up and extremely tired, sore breast, bad taste in mouth, ichy hands, acne breakout on back and a little on face, veins like tracks starting to showing up around the sides of my stomach, hips and breast, lower back pain, stomach pains, headachs and stuffy nose, very iritable and cry over stupid stuff. Then about two weeks later these things slowly start dissappearing and now all but very slight tender nippes but somewhat sore breast, still very iritable and cry baby at times, ocasional lite lower back pain and some stomach pain but still very gasy......ok anyone ever have this experience? Seeing the doctor today but I am so anxious that there may be something really wrong. Please help
