Speak to a medical professional as no one here knows your medical history or the type or brand of pill you are talking about.

The most common pill is started on the first day of your period and then the normal cycle ensues, 3 weeks of pill taking with a 7 day break in which you will usually start another period and then the 3 weeks of pills again etc

However this may not apply to you personally.

If u take the next pack of pills straight away u will not have a period.. If u dont take the next pack and have a break u will have a period.

if the pill is too confusing for you id suggest to ask your doctor about the contraceptive needle its just a needle in the bum every 3 months, means you dont have to stress about remembering to take it everyday. oh and it stops your period as well

I have never heard of this! The pills I take have 3 weeks of active, and 1 week of inactive. So I just continue to take pack after pack, with no breaks. Also I know the exact day I'll get my period, which is always the 3rd day of the inactive pills....So if you want to stay on the pill, I'd try a different kind..because that seems like a pain!

You can get a schedule for the alternating cycles in your menstruation from either an obstetrician or a gynecologist free of charge.
