It is extremely normal. And unfortunately u will probably have that desire for the rest of your life. Just realize that having or not having a boyfriend doesn't change who you are. A boyfriend won't make you a better person or more liked. It's just a guy. Make sure you are happy with who you are, but like I said it's normal. Don't worry!

yes, it's normal. It is normal to want to have that one special friend that you can claim as "yours!" More importantly, though, at your age, is to have as many friends as you can, both boys and girls! The special one(s) will stand out at the appropriate time! Don't dwell on trying to get a "boyfriend" right now- you have a lot of time for that to develop! Good luck to you!!

Sure, girls start thinking about boys & boyfriends starting in their pre-teens. It's totally normal. It doesn't mean you're *ready* to start having relationships or going out with boys, but it's PERFECTLY normal to start thinking about it and having crushes on boys.
This is the age where you are supposed to start gossiping about how cute someone is and whether you think he might like you or not. If your friends haven't started, they will soon.

i guess the hormones are kicking in, so yes it's normal.. don't worry about it. i'm fourteen and i probably started getting into guys around that age. but not that i go around screaming, omg he's so hot! or anything, but you definitely do feel a lot different about boys than you did when you were like, 7 lol.
