Spotting is very common after having an IUS/IUD put in. I think it should sort itself out after several weeks. The combination of an IUD and post-abortion hormones are probably just throwing your womb out of whack. It should resolve itself soon, but if it persists, don't hesitate to mention it to your doctor- that is what they are there for. And don't let anyone give you a bad time about the abortion- its called being responsible and if you weren't capable of having another child in that situation, it was better to deal with it maturely then end up having the whole family suffer.

Please talk to your Dr. Doctor. Good luck and take care.

Who ever just posted that they were a doctor has been posting that on everyones question... Dont mind them

it may be your body adjusting to having abortion but i would get to a doctor good luck!

What kind of IUD did you get? I know the hormone one (called Mirena) often causes frequent spotting as a side effect. It is no cause for concern, and is especially common in the first three months.

If you have a copper IUD, you could read the documentation your doctor gave you or search online to find out if spotting is a side effect for that.

You are probably fine, and your body is probably just going through "the hormone changes". Make an apointment with your doctor if you have any questions. The IUD may be causing a bit of spotting as well, you can read about that on the internet. If you are not feeling well or have any PAIN or fever, there may be a slight infection so don't wait too long!!!

this is likely gods punishment for murdering your unborn child
