Its all good a lot of girls get it like that my friend would randomly not get her period for 4 months. when they told ppl theyd be like omg are you pregnant?? ect... but she knows its normal its not something to worry about everyones different some people get there periods every two weeks....some every 2 months some every 4-6 :P lol

dont be worried coz you feel different from everyone else LOTS of girls out there have the same thing going on.

its normal

If you are very young, this is typical. But do see a doctor.

sorry im a dude, but that can happen if you are anorexic... and some diseases cause it too

i dont know..it hasnt happened to me..once i got it 2 times in a month but thats about it

It is not normal! I suggest you see a doctor right away!

yes that is normal that dosnt happen to me because i am on the pill but it happnes to my friend and it has been like taht since she started her period

go consult your doctor!
i have this but its purely cos i am on contrceptive pill

Its not normal...better see the Doctor

Whoah, that is an irregular period. I suggest that you go to your obstetrician immediately. She might recommend some thing. Your condition may be serious or it may just be a symptom of something happening to your body.

this happens to me quite often, sometimes this is do to stress, diet, and contraceptives, sometimes birthcontrol pills can correct the problem, however its not as uncommon as u may think

I have! And you can ask a doctor and they can't tell you what causes it because there are so many different reasons. Mine are never normal. Maybe stress??

Are you under weight or over weight? are you under gr8 deal of stress? I would go to the Dr b/c even if you are not pregnant now one day you might want to and it might be to l8. Sorry to sound all doom and gloom, but go to the Dr....
Good luck

If you just started you period within the last year, this is normal. Whe I first got mine, I didnt get it again for like 5 months. Then they were very irregular over the next year. Then, I learned in nursing school that this is very common when first starting your period. However if you have been having your period for years, and this just happened all of a sudden, make a MD appt.

Hello,
I have not been called a girl since I was little, however I have grown up to be a women so maybe I can help.

How much sex are you having? This could mess with a cycle. Sleep can do this. Stress can. Drugs are a biggy these days since everyone takes them and people just do not get that even if a drug is bought over the counter it is still drugs.

When was the last time you had a pap smear or seen any doctor? This might be a good idea for you to do!!
Good luck!

consult the doc... they have medication to put u back on track.

sometimes i go 2 or 3 months without getting my period
and i get freaked out too..its never not occured for 6 months though? it might be normal but best you see a doctor just to assure yourself.

ok dear you have not mentioned how old you are...but anyway if you do not have regular periods you might have a hormonal problem...the most common one is PCOD that can cause this pattern..also thyroid or adrenal problems can occasional cause this problem...if you have symptoms like excessive hair, obesity or any other symptoms you are better to see an endocrinologist...if you are extremely under weight that might be a cause too....in rare cases there might be a problem with your pituitary gland or sometimes premature menopause...I suggest you see a doctor about this as soon as you can

it's pretty normal if you're young, or if you have a low body weight.

Do not worry yourself. This is very common. It can take up to 3 years for your period to settle down once you start so if you are still in this time frame do not worry.

Skipping period can also be a sign of PCOS - this is not a major deal, it just means that you dont release eggs in some months.

It is worth going to the doctor though, this could be down to a million of reasons, change in sleep pattern, change of diet, stress, but better to be safe and just have a conversation with them. they might be able to help regulate your periods so that you know when they are due.

xxx

its normal. every girl is different.

No, this isn't normal. It is true that every woman's body and menstrual cycle is different, but 4 months without a period is rarely normal.

I used to have similar problems. I would not have a period for several months, and then I would have a period that lasted two months straight... very irregular. When I was 16, I was diagnosed with PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome). Symptoms of PCOS include irregular periods, weight gain, and insulin resistance. It can also make it difficult to conceive.

PCOS isn't terribly serious, but it's worth bringing up to your doctor. Your irregular periods may also be due to something else, so I'd suggest seeing a doctor either way. Your doctor may put you on birth control to regulate your cycle (or eliminate it entirely with the Depo Provera shot--that's what I get, and I personally love not worrying about my period).

i had a period when i was young for bout 2 months then nothing for a whole year so dw its kinda normal lol !
