What are some easy yet effective workouts to begin with?!


Question: So, I dont beleive in Diets. But I do beleive in Exercize. I just always make EVERYTHING too COMPLICATED! I research and try to put together work out plans and analyze them. But, pretty much POINT BLANK I dont know where to start. I need something easy to start with. Ive tried videos and cant really keep up with them. I am sick of this post pregnancy body and dont have much time or energy at the end of the day to do anything unless its cleaning the house. So, anyone out there that can offer advice on what to do, would be awesome! I am mostly worried about my stomach, ***, and thighs. Ugh. Please dont tell me to run either, I dont have time, nor will my knees allow me to do that. So.......thanks bunches to anyone that can point me in a good direction!

Turn on your best CD, MTV, DVD, etc. and just dance. Dance like you just don't care. Hold your baby and dance. Bubs like it. Take your baby and lift her in the air for your arms, throw your legs out from side to side. Kick your knees up, spin around, wave your arms in the air. Just have fun.

I do this, its fun. I have 3 kids, 2 dogs and a full-time jobb. I can do this while I'm cooking, after dinner or late at night. I sometimes get the kids to join me, reluctantly sometimes they join in. Don't worry about energy, it is a state of mind. You are tired from your day, you just need a stimulus to get you going again. Loose yourself in music no matter how silly you think you look, just do it, and sing too! Relax your mind and let your body be free.

Walking does a good job of tighning things up. Also, squats work well too. (In fact I was able to lift 100lbs more in two weeks) Squats are cool because you can play with your baby when you do it, and the added little bit of weight that she/he brings will make the workout that much better for you...and to them it's just a fun ride!
Also for your butt, get on all fours, and kick one of your legs out and contract your muscles.
I hate to say it though, unless you already eat really well it won't matter how much working out you do, if you already have fat there it's not going anywhere until you cut back.
Your body burns fat if you are within your THR (target heart rate) any lower or higher and it won't work, in fact if you go higher your body begins to burn muscle because it burns faster than fat.
