I am really scared of LAbour has anyone experienced a uterine embolism?!
Question: I haven't, but I do know it is extremely rare, certainly not one of the commoner complications of labour. What has put this in your mind ? Have you read about it or known someone with it?
Obviously no-one here can give you any guarantees but, as I said, it is very rare. Most labours go smoothly and, with the use of epidurals, can be pain free.
