Question: So I went to the docotor's to day I was dx with yest inf. and UTI. I have never had them at the same time. But I just started the pills, But tonight I'm having more abd. pain, it burns up there. Not when going to the bathroom. When I got exam, the gel burned really bad, but I washed so i still don't think it could be that. Please help me, I wan the pain to kind of go way. I know it's not going to go away over night. but I would like help for tonight please. I called my docotor and left a message. Thank you all very mcuh.

Hi cassy.
Drink water, continue taking antibiotics for UTI, apply gel for thrush, take pain killers to ease symptoms of pain and see chemist/drug store to get some urinary alkaliser which will ease the symptoms of burning. Continue doing this until the antibiotics kick in. Uncomfortable yes, been there done that.
Other tricks to prevent UTI is to wear cotton undies, wipe from front to back, drink fluids ie water and urinate after sex. hope you are better soon.

I know that your in pain...but theres really not a lot you can do. Take some pain relievers and go to sleep. If you aren't taking AZO, try some of that. Drink some cranberry juice to help flush the bacteria from your system.
