Glands inside your vagina and cervix make small amounts of fluid. This fluid flows out of the vagina each day, carrying out old cells that have lined the vagina. This is your body's way of keeping your vagina healthy and clean. The discharge is usually clear or milky and doesn't smell bad.

The color and thickness of the discharge change with your monthly cycle. The discharge is thicker when you ovulate (when one of your ovaries releases an egg), when a woman is breastfeeding or when you're sexually excited.

Changes that may signal a problem include an increase in the amount of discharge, a change in the color or smell of the discharge, and irritation, itchiness or burning in or around your vagina. This is called vaginitis. A discharge that's stained with blood when you're not having your period could also be a sign of a problem. Some other types of infections such as yeast infection, bacterial vaginosis and trichomoniasis can also cause discharge that is usually accompanied by odor such as beer/yeast/fish.

I would recommend that if you have any of these signs or any concerns regarding this you consult with your doctor for a proper diagnosis and for proper treatment should you have anything other than just a normal vaginal discharge.

Good luck :)

It sounds like yeast, go to the drug store and get an off brand cure. It'll work just as well and it's cheaper.
peace

Well before you come on to your period you get a lot of discharge im your panties soo dont worry be happy your about to become a woman just change your underwear everyday to prevent infections

It's actually a normal process for us to discharge. Our bodies have a way of cleaning itself out. Now if you have a white discharge with a lumpy consistency, it's more than likely a yeast infection. That is also followed by excessive itching. Try purchasing a pantyliner to protect your underwear.

It sounds like an yeast infection. Does it itch when you urinate sometimes? usaully right after you urinate. a lot of times women will not have symptoms of a yeast infection except for the discharge. I suggest getting to the doctor to get some cream for it. Or you can try a over the counter cream first. But, if you are sexaully active I suggest just going to the doctor because you can give it to your partner and in return he can give it back to you. So you both need to be treated.

That is discharge it is very normal. it your bodys way of cleaning down there. if you are worried wear a paniy liner to keep your underwear clean and dont worry its very normal. have you started your period yet if not you may be starting it soon. if the dischagre turns yellow or it has a funny smell to it it could be a infection and then i would go to the doctor but for right know hte white discharge is very normal.

its either cervical mucus or you have a yeast infection...

It happens to basically every woman in this world. I know it can be 'annoying', but its something you have to learn to cope with as efficiently as possible, and just accept. Usually it begins about 6 months before you begin menstruating....it means you are growing up! :)
ps. unless extremely unusual, its nothing to do with yeast.

It's normal. Once you start puberty, it's normal to have a white and/or clear discharge as the vagina is self-cleaning. It means your hormones are working. This same discharge increases the closer you get to ovulation and when you are sexually aroused.

Different Types of Discharge:

White: Thick, white discharge is common at the beginning and end of your cycle. Normal white discharge is not accompanied by itching. If itching is present, thick white discharge can indicate a yeast infection.

Clear and stretchy: This is "fertile" mucous and means you are ovulating.

Clear and watery: This occurs at different times of your cycle and can be particularly heavy after exercising.

Yellow or Green: May indicate an infection, especially if thick or clumpy like cottage cheese or has a foul odor.

Brown: May happen right after periods, and is just "cleaning out" your vagina. Old blood looks brown.

Spotting Blood/Brown Discharge: This may occur when you are ovulating/mid-cycle. Sometimes early in pregnancy you may have spotting or a brownish discharge at the time your period would normally come. If you have spotting at the time of your normal period rather than your usual amount of flow, and you have had sex without using birth control, you should check a pregnancy test.
