Some advice..........PLEASE!!?!

Question: what can i do for my hair?? i used to have such nice hair! thicke and wavy and just so nice!
after i had my son, 4 years ago, i noticed that my hair was getting thinner and thinner. i heard that after you have a baby that happens but then it goes back to normal. well mine didn't. i am still losing my hair, especially in the shower. i cry when i see clumps of my hair in my hands after i wash it. i am only 30 years old why is this happening to me??
i have a mild form of PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome) and that is a symptom. i take pills that are supposed to help my hair from falling out but its not working. i tried this other liquidy stuff called Pantosin that you rub on your hair to help it from falling out, nothing worked. i just need some advice on what to do. i have been down the doctor route and its not working!!
is this happening to anyone else?? what did you do?? what can i use to get my hair back?? i don't have the money to go the surgery way.
HELP!!

You may want to go to your doctor to find out if you have a thyroid problem. I was losing a lot of hair earlier this year and had other symptoms of having a hypothyroid. After I started on my meds my hair has stopped coming out in such huge quantities... I can tell that my hair is starting to grow back because I have little fly aways all over too! I would check with your doc and tell him/her that it is getting really bad and something needs to be done about it. I think medical advice is the best advice you can get at this point!

Your hair is probably still being affected by your hormones. I had hair down to my waist and I let a beautician talk me into cutting it short. It didn't help. I just let it go, and it eventually stopped. My hair is now healthy and down to past my waist. Perhaps a super good conditioner will help so you don't have any tangles at all to deal with. My favorite is all Nexxus products: humectress (which is a good conditioner at any time.), keraphix, and emergencee mixed together. More humectress, less keraphix, and just a little emergencee. Wash hair, dry, mix these in your hand and apply. Put a shower cap on, and use heat on. A heating cap or old fashioned dryer. Leave on 20 min. The reason besides stopping tangeling is that it puts protein into your hair shaft. This is vital for hair. It also conditions your scalp. It's expensive, but you don't use it often, or much of it at one time. It may just save your hair. I don't know, but it's what I would do.
peace
