Question: Yesterday morning I woke up and my throat was killing me it was very hard to swallow when I swallow i feel pain also i feel dehydrated I drank plenty of water all day long my throat still hurts right now! this never happend to me

you might have what i use to have if your tonsils are getting bigger and it hurts to swallow and breathe i had to get them taken out which is really rare these days.. check with doctor asap..rather be safe then sorry..

Gargle with salt water. If it doesn't go away after a couple days see a doctor.

sounds like you have strept throat! Go to the doctor before it gets too bad. I've had strept many times and had to get my tonsils taken out. From what you mentioned those are symptoms of it.
I get this sometimes if I snore, or sleep with my mouth wide open.
I usually gargle with warm salt water and then suck on cough drops throughout the day.
I do also spend a lot of time on the telephone for work, so my throat will get fatigued from time to time.
