Hun. taking tablets is better than any operation. You would require an anaesthetic which comes with risks which are unnecessary now that tablets can be taken. it probably wouldn't be so bad now that you know what to expect.
Don't put yourself through this again. talk to the doctor about a long term contraceptive that will suit you.

why are you having an abortion? Im not going to tell you off cos i dont know what you been through

just dont have an abortion
give it up for adoption
one life to many to give up

I would go for the tablets every time...any invasive procedure should be avoided...it is risky to be put to sleep...it may hurt but phycologically it is better...ask for strong painkillers.

the vacuum aspiration is easier since they knock you out and do the procedure when you are unconcious so u wont feel any pain, however they are both going to hurt and their are going to be symptoms to the vacuum aspiration but I would really recommend the vacuume aspiration over the tablet .

Have you considered giving birth?

As you are asleep it would not be painfull just uncomfortable when you wake up. Why not go on the pill and protect your body from all this unnecessary invasion.

hello, i am not judging you at all. i have undergone the vacuum procedure and it is a bit painful, it is bearable tho.and you do bleed for a couple of weeks after.. but you will be ok honestly...i also had the implant put in my arm as a contraception method - i did this to make sure i never have to do it again as the experience wasnt pleasnt at all. maybe think about having the implant too? or using another more reliable method of contraception??

hope you get through this ok

if you ever want to talk or ask me anything you are more then welcome to email me

medical tablets i guess.

I had the D&C proceedure when I had a miscarage and it really was not to bad. I would say it is better than the pills cause everything is taken out and your body is not getting rid of it so you do not contract as much or as long,I I am sure this is the last thing you want to hear but honey abortion is not a form of birthcontrol and really screws up your body so please find a different form of BC before your hurt yourself. I know things happen sometimes but the second and any following times thats on you and somthing you have to live with your whole life. Good Luck and God Bless you

The vacuum one is not a physically painful procedure, however after you do have bleeding and cramps and will pass clots of blood. Either is not nice but my choice would be the medical one.

No judgement, hope everything works out ok for you.

The procedure that would be best for you is to have your tubes tied. You have the right to ask and we have the right to answer..you also have a right to a choice..actually many choices. And if you think noone knows your situation, you are wrong because you have asked many questions when you were TRYING DESPERATELY to get pregnant! Even after asking several questions about what you should do about the boyfriend/s that you could not decide which one to dump and which one to keep around just in case the other one doesn't come back..so, yes, some of us DO know your situation and you might think that you are fooling some, but there are plenty of us that know the truth because you told us! I think you are pathetic and have urged you many times to get professional help..quit playing games with people's lives..adults and babies..quit worrying about which type of abortion is going to cause you the least amount of pain..? sick!..and start using your common sense to use protection instead of trying to get pregnant and then want everyone to feel sorry for you because you are worried about a little pain..guess you never think about the pain of the child. I agree that you are not ready for a child..at all! But you have been in the same position before and I guess your lack of morals and values allow you to just do it again with your biggest concern being about your amount of physical pain....what's wrong with adoption..too selfish? My guess is yes. I really don't care if anyone gets mad about my answer because I have read all your questions and if anyone else wants to they can too. So stop whining and grow up and start acting like an adult..I find it hard to believe you are an adult. Good luck..hope you find the easiest way out! Sleep well...

A medical abortion can be carried out only up to 9weeks and after 14 weeks because of the risks. Surgical abortions are carried out in between the two.I am surprised you found the medical abortion so painful were you not given adequate analgesia. You won't feel the surgical one as you are asleep but post op the procedure is the same with tablets being inserted into the vagina., which is probably more embarrassing for you than painful. You should have been counselled both post and pre procedure and contraception discussed. Now I don't know if you can't take the pill for some reason so if I was you go for something like Implanon. Remember you are not the first to go through this and unfortunately you won't be the last. Don't let anyone judge you as you have your own reasons. Good Luck and if you want anymore info get in touch,
