Is this my period?!
Question: I felt gross down there, went to check...there was a brown spot with pink blotches around it and then clear blotches around that in my unders. I also feel kinda queasy. :(
My period or no? I know its silly to ask, but I want to make sure...

first tell your mommy or an adult female you trust. or maybe a sister

usually ur period is irregular for a while so you won't know exactly when it will com
it shuld last 3 to 10 days 7 being about normal.
and it comes every like 28 days.
if you get cramps. take midol or some other medicine specialized for period stuff =}

Yes this is probably your period. you need to tell a trusted adult female, and she should be able to fill you in. You usually have a period every 28-30 days. you start counting on the day your period starts.

hi, when i started my period it started a little trickle of blood followed by a heavey one the next day. wait and see. it is hard to keep track those first times, my first was 9th second 6th and now my rutine one is 21st

If this is your first period, then its very likely, keeping track, that's difficult your first periods are very likely to be sporadic and of varying degrees of flow, congrats on becoming a young woman.

Emily, if you hadn't mentioned clear blotches I would have said it sounded very much like a first period. This would probably be a good time to talk to your Mom or health counselor at school just to make sure you don't have a yeast infection. If this is your period ,you can keep track by circling the day on the calendar or writing some type of notation in the square, then count 28 days forward and circle that date as your next target date.
Have had yeast infections in the past. The discharge was almost never yellowish .
