Don't be scared. Your Mom has outdated info. Activity that you normally do is OK during your period as long as you don't feel bad. If you have cramps or if you flow really heavy you might feel lightheaded because of losing a lot of blood all at once, but it is not a common thing. If you normally run, then go ahead. Activity is good. It helps prevent cramps.

not realy running dosent cause this, your women hood does ^_^

Well i never passed out when i was on my period in gym and i run track and sometimes i'm on my period nothing happens lol. u'll be fine but u might wanna use tampons instead of pads.

nope not true
not true at all
i run miles everyday, especially when i have my period cause it helps relieve cramps and i also play field hockey when i have my period and its doesn't make it come out more
don't you worry at all

The blood that is coming out, has been on the wall of your uterus, and out of your circulatory system, for quite some time. You're not losing any blood directly out of your circulatory system, so no chance of passing out.

running could make it flow out faster, but that's not going to hurt you, in fact it's probably a good thing.

having your period. is a monthly cycle.weather you run. jump. it makes NO Difference what so ever. to your period.

no, it shouldnt and this is a time to wear tampons so it wont be messy. exercise should help your cramps.

no, i have my period and from all of the things i have read, running isn't bad! It's great! It's suppose to help w/ like cramps and stuff like that. I read that in an american girl book for a gurls body!!!!
