Is is normal to feel no joy or attraction while suffering from menopause?!
Question: Had surgically induced menopause several years ago, taking HRT, but not feeling quite "right" - sad some of the time, not depressed per ca, not feeling very attractive physically at all & I "used" to have a strong sex drive that seems to have disappeared too. Any advice - please? (Due to his own illness...my husband has no sex drive to boot - which makes me feel even worse.)

Normal, but distressing, please talk to your doctor, you may need ot have adjustments made in your HRT.

I am not sure about your question. But have you thought about the possible benefits to having a relationship where both people have a similar level of sex drive? I know popular belief would think it's a bad think not to have much of a sex drive, but I have heard of, and experienced so many relationships having problems because the sex drives are so different. At the moment, you could look at this is possibly a positive. You and your husband can do other things together for bonding - things you are both interested in - and keep intimacy that way.
I would suggest you talk to your doctor as they are more likely to be able to help you through this. It sounds normal from what I have heard but normal does not mean you can not take action to try and tackle the issue.
