Are you referring to PMS? If you get it bad, you could always tell your partner what your schedule is for periods and BOTH of you could work at not tackling hard issues during that time. If mood swings come, he should be understanding and not angry or mocking. But also, I think many women who have PMS know its coming and use it as an excuse rather than try to work with it and actively calm down. I remind myself that I may be seeing things as more emotionally extreme than they are, and that helps.

No, its perfectly safe, kinda grosse but safe. just make sure to definatly use condoms and it may feel a lil uncomfortable. I've done it before and it made me have cramps afterwards.
