It really is, over night I get a much heavier flow into the next morning, it is because of the "build up", and is something that could cause night accidents. Been there done that...but just be aware you might need some extra pads during the night

yes it is. you have not been up right all night so when you do get up it all comes out i realy hate that part the most when it comes to my period.
unfortunately yes.. laying down, gravity doesn't work right. That's why sometimes if u go from laying to standing, it feels as if a waterfall just let loose.....
yeah if you think about it the blood leaks out, when your body is upright, but when you lay down, how can it leak out, so it's normal

yes thats entirely normal, when you lie down the blood pools inside you, so when you stand upright it comes out again
I am going to say it is normal because it happens to me too.
