Stressing out big time because of this...?!

Question: OK, usually my periods are anywhere from 21 to 27 days apart. It's been 25 days since my last period... still normal right? But I'm stressing out about it. I have had sex before but we usually use a condom. Well, one night we started having sex and realized we didn't have a condom so we stopped. I'm so freaking out right now that I could be pregnant. I have been stressing a lot because of work, and I also had the stomach virus last weekend, so my food diet has been off as well. So, can those two things delay a period a little bit? I'm home alone all weekend with no car and no way to go get a pregnancy test. My sister became pregnant this past year and ended up getting an abortion and the whole situation devastated our family, and I don't want to have to do the same thing. Please give me some advice, and don't be rude about it. Thanks.

Don't you worry dear! Stress and illness are 2 of the top reasons for missing/delaying a period. It's a good thing that you use condoms and that you stopped when you realized you didn't have one. I can almost garantee that you are NOT pregnant. If you still don't get your period by next week, take a test and see. But I'm pretty sure you are just super stressed and its making your hormones go all wacky. Good Luck to you!

Go to the drugstore and get one of the home pregnancy tests. You are freaking out without having all the information. If the test is negative, you should still go to the doctor and have an exam. You need to worry about your immediate situation, and basing any sort of action without having complete info will not help. I hope you can find a clinic. Planned Parenthood has sliding fee scales and will maintain confidentiality. Good luck.
