Period Question... I think I used a tampon thats too big?!
Question: I know thats probably too much information.. But this is my only period when I have used tampons regularly. I have had it for about 4 years now. But anyway, its the last day of my period, so its kind of light. Well, without thinking much about it, I used a regular sized tampon instead of a pad.
Now im kind of worried that it will be too big, which I know contributes to the risk for TSS. What do I do about it?? Leave it in? Or what?
Thanks! (i know im probably worrying over nothing.)

You shouldn't leave it in for over 8 hours, so as long as you don't go over that it'll be fine :)!
And don't worry, you are worrying over nothing but everyones been there :)!
use it or take it out. it doesnt matter. just dont leave it in for too long. you should be ok. I use regular no matter what
the too big would normally be considered a super or plus when defiantly not needed. wearing a regular on your last days is fine. you wont get tss if you change them regularly. goodluck.
the risks are no different for using a regular tampon during a light period or using a regular tampon for a heavy period. it is recommended to use a smaller size tampon when your period is light just because smaller periods are not as risky. just make sure you don't leave it in for two long; 4-6 hours recommended.
