No period in 3 months, tube tied and only 38 years old?!

Question: I had my one tube tied Jan 30 2007 ever since October I have been having pelvic pain, back pain and under both ribs. I had my last period 10 days earlier than normal and it was very light and I have not had one since, it has been 3 month. I am not pregnant either I have taken EPT. What could be the problem?

Don't know, and neither can anyone else know on this site. What do you mean you had your "one tube tied"???

You only have one?

You really need to see your GYN. This sounds like you need something fixed. Don't wait . Tying your tube should not have affected your period. And you should not be having any pain whatsoever.

Good luck
I am an RN

ouch. dont ask us. go see a doc. QUIKKK

you should go to the doctor if you're having these types of pains. it might be really really serious. it may or may not have to do with your tubes being tied, but no one can tell you for sure except the doctor. make an emergency visit

no your pregnant

oh man go see a doctor!

go to a gyno, duh

go to your gyn and they will determine that

I recently had the same problem went 4 months no period,,
Had my tubes tied for over a yr,,
Went to the doctor, turns out i have kidney infection i had no clue about,, i started my period Tuesday,, after being put on antibiotics for it.

I stopped having periods at 36. Spent many appointments and tests to find out why. At 52 they finally decided it was early menopause.

go to the doctor.

it probaly has something to do with getting your tubes tied. GO TO A DOCTOR!!! get it checked out.

u dont get ur period wen ur tubes r tied

de de dee

I dont see the "problem"... LOL.. Anyway, at 38, you already know, that it may be stress or change of diet and the usual suspects. Check with your gyno to see if everything checks out. Hope all is well.

it could be a hormonal imbalance. possibly early menopause as well. im just a 1st year nursing student, so dont rely on my answer..lol go see a md... soon

good luck

This question should ONLY be answered by a medical professional - your doctor. There could be many things causing your pains. Please be seen as soon as you can. Four months is a long time to live with pain!

see a doctor , you might have PID.

the best to consult ur doctor and tell him or her about this problem. pain is one of a sign that something is wrong inside.so its better to go to the doctor,as early as possible.

Maybe its the sign of monopouse. Go and see your doctor. or maybe something wrong with you period circlation.

not to scare u, but early menopause is a possibilty...here's an article i found....

Premature and early menopause
Last updated: Tuesday, October 05, 2004
According to the onset and time relationship there are several definitions which describe various categories related to the menopause:
Natural menopause: the permanent cessation of menstruation, which can only be determined retrospectively after no menstrual periods have occurred for 12 consecutive months. The range for the age of natural menopause is approximately from age 48 to 55.

Induced menopause: the cessation of menstruation due to removal of both ovaries (with or without removal of the uterus), or the inhibition of normal ovarian function by medication given by the doctor.
Premature menopause: spontaneous menopause occurring before age 40. Also known as premature ovarian failure (POF). Possible reasons include:
Genetic factors which means an abnormality in her genes carrying the programmes of her inheritance.
Autoimmune disorders. These are diseases whereby antibodies are developed against the body
