Can anyone help me out? Does this sound serious, have you heard of anything like!

Question: About a year ago I got this odd bruise on my leg that is still there today but its faded a bit. Then about six months after getting the bruise I started getting leg pains, like tingling and a bit of burning on the inside of my leg. It started getting worse so I went to see a doctor because I thought it could be a blood clot. He said it was nothing! Um yeah its defiantly something. Two months ago I got really worried so I went to the ER because it started hurting alot, the doctor there examined it and had a ultrasound done on it and said it was fine. Now I'm feeling really weird pains in my calf upper thigh and bottom of foot. What in the world could this be? Should I be worried even though the ER said it wasn't a blood clot? Theres no discoloration and no swelling that I notice anyways. Any suggestions are very much appreciated

I'm no medical expert but I'm pretty dang sure that there's something wrong there, I'd get a third opinion... doctor's aren't exactly perfect... hell it took them 7 month's just to figure out that my little sister's constant headaches and dizzy spells were allergies...

I don't know what that could be... perhaps another opinion is needed....there has to be some explanation for the pains you are getting.

not that siriuos

if you're that concerned.. i'd see your family doctor and get it checked thouroughly.. but .. you may be babying it or something.. causing it to tense, etc... because of your worries.. but you won't really relax till you know for sure.. so get a thorough checkup i guess

I don't think this is related to the bruise, your really do need to find a doctor to either take this seriously n explainn what's going on. Do you trvel long distances in the car or stad up alot at work? I heard on the raido ages ago alot of women suffer from restless legs.

The only way they will find out if it's anything to worry about would be to lance it or do a biopsy to get a sample and test it. When you have gone to the doctor in the past, have you gone to the same one or different ones? Try getting documentation on it by going to where you were treated and getting a copy of the charts, and going to a doctor and getting another opinion. Going to different doctors means each one has to start from square one and may not know the full history behind it.

Once I fell on my knee while skating and my leg swelled and I limped for quite a while. I wore a brace. It still gives me problems every now and then when I barely do anything or I exercise more than usual. You might have an injury that didn't heal correctly.

I don't know but I wouldn't have waited this long to go back to the ER , but a different one and maybe change Primary care docs as well.

It is something for sure

Good Luck
