Menopause age?!

Question: Is 45 too young to start going through menopause? I've experienced a few symptoms, but don't know if 45 is too young, or it could be something else. I've never had children either and I read somewhere where that could make a difference. Ladies...any thoughts?

45 is right around the normal age. Some women get around there mid 20's.

The age doesn't matter.I have heard that if you never had kids, menopause,is harder on you.I,myself, haven't had kids, and man,it has been rough.Different people start at different ages, and you could have symtoms your mom never had.I started at about49,I think.Still toughing it out.I'm 55 now.Good luck.Read up on it.When I first went to my gyno. about my problems,he didn't seem to know what was wrong with me.He diagnosed me with Anziety attacks! What a joke!!!

Know you can go threw menopause in your twenties, I
would say you might be, your doctor can run test to
see.

I have heard it said to ask your mother at what age she started menopause. I started in early 40s. Lasted maybe 10 years??? I had 2 children and mine was very rough.
